We are delighted to announce the signing of a strategic partnership between Procco Financial Service and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank on a very special project to be launched in Q1 2010. The project involves state of the art technology and for the very first time an ancient form of Islamic financing that transacts within the boundaries of Shari’a principles using a technical platform. The implementation, co-jointly between ADIB and Procco, is a first in this region and is supported though the smart card capabilities as set out by Visa International. Procco is very proud to have such a prestigious partner for the UAE and is very excited to see this new ADIB product launch in 2010. Customers will benefit hugely from this ground breaking adventure which will see Islamic financing traditions remain true to its core, while at the same time utilizing technology to revolutionize the delivery channel directly through retail Point of Sale machines.
