The City District Government Karachi (CDGK) has launched an E-Ticketing System in collaboration with GPM at 100 designated Ticketing Booths across the city for operation of dedicated CNG buses. Every designated bus stop has been installed with a Ticketing Booth with GPM’s GPRS POS terminals. Rechargeable Prepaid cards are being issued from these Ticketing Booths enabling the Cardholders to purchase ticket against the preloaded amount, from these booths.

GPM is solely responsible for operating the E-Ticketing Program for CDGK and directly looks after daily operations such as Booth Management, Booths' Staff Management, Tickets' Processing, Cash Management, Procurement of POS Terminals & Chip-based prepaid cards and Deployment of POS Terminals.  GPM ensures technical connectivity of each booth with the Backend server and provides all necessary support for maintenance and operation of the entire program.

One of the largest women-wear retail brands, Bareezé having over 50 outlets across Pakistan runs a successful loyalty program which awards its customers through discounts and other privileges. It has launched three different categories of cards (Classic, Celebrity, and Gift Card).

Bareezé Gift Card, which is a Prepaid or Rechargeable Cash Card can either be gifted to a friend, family or loved-one with desired credit or can simply be purchased off-the-shelf from the merchant.  The card can be used for payment until the credit lasts; once the credit reaches zero, the cardholder can recharge the card with any amount and can reuse over and over again.

GPM has launched an Insurance Health Card Program for Adamjee Insurance Company Limited by the name Catch Card which has introduced the concept of ‘one card for all your insurance needs’ as it offers the convenience to hold all insurance policies onto one single card.  The program runs via GPM’s technological platform and with GPM’s POS terminals installed across several Adamjee panel hospitals, the Catch Card allows seamless admission processing, payment process and discharge and performs functions such as Real-time patient’s eligibility checks, pre-authorizations, referrals, deductible transactions, etc.

A Rechargeable Prepaid & Loyalty Card Program is being launched that will involve issuing Prepaid Cards in collaboration with Arif Habib Bank Limited to be used for payment; they will be rechargeable either onsite or via online by debit to the Account holder’s accounts (mandatory to be opened at the time of Issuance of Prepaid Card).

The program is unique in nature as it not only couples the prepaid card payment mechanism with loyalty feature, but also involves bank’s affiliation for backing up the payment procedure thus focusing on enhanced security measures, timely credit upgrades, and for the most part, allows online recharge facility directly via Account holder’s existing bank’s account.

DMART is a convenience/grocery store chain in Pakistan.  They have launched a Prepaid/Gift Card solution via GPM’s Platform. The loyalty program is in the form of profit/interest with 15% annual interest rate applied on per day basis. Profit is earned only on the principal amount and not on the interest earned i.e. simple interest will be applied.  Thus, they divide reward points on a 365 day cycle.  The Prepaid cards are available in three different denominations.
