UNITED BANK LIMITED
GPM’s first Loyalty Client as well as the Acquiring Partner in the Banking Sector has been United Bank
Limited. GPM has ported its Loyalty application to UBL on their Credit Card Chip for both VISA &
Master Card. The program has been running successfully since 2004 and UBL is a dominant player in the
market when it comes to offering a chip-based card loyalty program. The total cards’ issuance has crossed
300,000 mark and the loyalty program has served as a great marketing tool for UBL into getting more
cardholders on board.
UBL has launched a mix of campaigns ranging from specific campaigns such as Recency, frequency, monetary
based as well as generic campaigns.
STANDARD CHARTERED BANK
Standard Chartered Bank is another esteemed client of GPM in the Loyalty portfolio. GPM is in the process
of launching an extensive loyalty program for Standard Bank for its Credit Cards. GPM will provide
loyalty features and operations for both its VISA and MASTERCARD credit cards.
The loyalty application for SCB shall be completely developed by GPM. It is also pertinent to mention
that the application will be capable of executing the Loyalty Processing in a SINGLE SWIPE, meaning that
the SCB card will only needed to be swiped ONCE and both the payment transaction followed by loyalty
transaction shall be carried out subsequently. There is no need for a second swipe to perform loyalty
operation.
MILLAC PAKISTAN

GPM has launched a Card-based Cash Register & Loyalty Program for Millac. A new application has been
developed in-house which maps the entire functionality of Cash Register onto a POS Terminal. This enables
the entire transaction to process only through POS Terminal and hence, the transaction flow accompanied
with Loyalty processing is simplified. This is the first of its kind, product registry and loyalty
program - a dual purpose card program which accounts for each and every transaction product wise as well
as awards points for purchases. With the successful integration of Cash Register & Loyalty Processing
as All-in-One Package, GPM has delivered a unique product in the market and it has helped developing a
competitive edge over the competitors and rivals in the market. With the implementation of the said
application, Millac has revolutionized the milk industry by introducing its own branded outlets as point
of sale for its dairy products. With aggressive plans to open over 100 outlets nationwide, GPM is
providing them with complete GPRS POS terminal, payment, loyalty, and card solutions.
MOBEX LIMITED
MOBEX has introduced a revolutionary concept of introducing branchless banking that will enable the
customers to transfer funds, withdraw and deposit cash via POS Terminals in Real time. The project has
recently been signed and taken up and the development has been initiated. GPM, being the technology
provider, will provide them the required connectivity for their branchless banking platform through GPM
POS Terminals deployed at various participating merchants’ outlets for conducting transactions. GPM will
facilitate POS services and intermediate Server to communicate with Mobex Host.
More specifically, GPM will develop the software and systems as well as integrate necessary hardware and
software, required to provide technical connectivity for MOBEX to connect to the GPM POS Network. This
includes developing a custom-tailored software application that will reside on POS Terminals fully
customized and capable of executing all MOBEX Transactions. Thus, GPM will be developing the POS
Application and Middle ware Application – “Access Server”, which will collectively facilitate the
communication channel from the POS terminals to the MOBEX Host System, thus enabling MOBEX Transactions
from the Point of Sale Terminal. The said application’s development for MOBEX will include complete
software design, development, testing & integration. In addition to this, GPM will be providing
provision for back end system to enable routing of transactions for deposits, withdrawals and other
services for MOBEX Host System.
VANGUARD CAPITAL MANAGEMENT
GPM has also undertaken a project recently leading to a launch of a Rechargeable Prepaid & Loyalty
Card
Program for Vanguard Capital Management. The program will involve issuing Prepaid Cards in collaboration
with Arif Habib Bank Limited to be used for payment; they will be rechargeable either onsite or via online
by debit to the Account holder’s accounts (mandatory to be opened at the time of Issuance of Prepaid
Card).
The program is unique in nature as it not only couples the prepaid card payment mechanism with loyalty
feature, but also involves bank’s affiliation for backing up the payment procedure thus focusing on
enhanced security measures, timely credit upgrades, and for the most part, allows online recharge facility
directly via Account holder’s existing bank’s account. To ensure security, each card will be assigned a
unique PIN required to be entered every time a cardholder transacts. The program will also offer an
enticing loyalty program attracting the cardholders towards frequent and repeat usage of the card. The
application to execute prepaid mechanism and to run a loyalty program as desired by Vanguard shall be
completely developed in-house by GPM.
SEFAM (PVT). LTD
In the corporate/retail sector, GPM has launched an extensive Corporate Loyalty Program for Bareezé, one
of the largest women-wear retail brands in Pakistan having over 50 outlets across the country. Bareezé
runs a successful loyalty program via GPM’s platform, which awards its customers through discounts and
other privileges. It has launched two types of loyalty cards catering to different clients’ portfolio,
termed as Classic (for customers with low-spending behavior) and Celebrity (for customers with
high-spending behavior) and a Prepaid Rechargeable Card – Bareezé Gift Card. Apart from designing the
application error-free and ensuring the smooth implementation and 100% testing, GPM has also streamlined
the Online System for Sefam to provide them direct access to GPM servers.
Generic Loyalty Campaigns (Point-based) were designed in association with GPM, to be programmed on both
types of loyalty cards for their customers to avail and get themselves rewarded. As on today, the
collective issuance of all three types has crossed 50,000. Furthermore, GPM has exclusively designed and
provided them Extensive web-based reporting, offering 40 reports, all diverse and reflecting different set
of information. All the reports are provided online and can be accessed 24/7 by Sefam. GPM has also
provided them with Online Cards Input Module for entering new customer’s data into the system to minimize
data entry error.
SEHAS LLC
Sehas LLC is a Division of Sefam Pvt. Ltd., Operational in UAE – Dubai, Sharjah & Abu Dhabi. GPM has
recently launched Sefam’s loyalty program for the outlets present in UAE for Bareezé with the Classic
Card. The loyalty program’s campaigns have been altered and redesigned to match the currency changes as
well as the rewarding criteria as desired by the Management. The same loyalty application has been
modified for Sehas and is being implemented.
GNA ASSOCIATES
GPM is launching a loyalty program for a chain of fuel stations along with cross promotional offerings of
GNA with Subway and in-house loyalty participation with GNA’s fuel station outlet “Bon Jour”. Apart from
running a traditional loyalty program for GNA, the application developed by GPM shall also provide the
provision to offer special features based on their requirements such as sending SMS after every
transaction to the cardholder informing about their loyalty status and updated points’ balance as well as
collecting cardholders’ data via SMS for entering into the program, etc.
SERVIS SHOES
Servis Shoes is one of the Pakistan’s largest and extensive brands of footwear, with network of branches
scattered nationwide. GPM has launched a Corporate Loyalty program for Servis Shoes utilizing the classic
point awarding and rewarding systems through chip card. The loyalty program’s campaigns are point-based
as desired by the management and offer different types of rewards upon certain number of points’
accumulation. With GPM’s loyalty processing platform and connectivity via GPM’s network of POS
Terminals, Servis aims to make their loyalty program the largest in the retail shoe industry.
METRO SHOES
Having started with three different variants of cards, Metro shoes have started a national loyalty program
for its customers. With simple point accumulation and redemption, as well as discount programs, Metro
aims to expand its loyalty program across several cities in Pakistan. GPM provides complete card, POS and
loyalty application solution to Metro Shoes to effectively run its loyalty program.
OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS
Oxford University Press is a leading Book retail with several outlets across country. Together with GPM,
Oxford has commenced its loyalty program in over 8 outlets across Pakistan. The card provides customers
with easy points’ accumulation and redemption programs at all purchases at their outlets and offers
privileges on special occasions. GPM thus provides a complete end-to-end system ranging from connectivity
of POS Terminals with the Loyalty Application residing at the server, hardware and software integration,
campaign designing, loyalty calculations, award assignment, reward procedures’ execution, loyalty
updates, loyalty cards’ personalization, provision for online-reporting, so on and so forth.
AQUA LOUNGE
The first of its kind, fine dining gift card, Aqua Lounge offers the first gift card in the food industry.
These gift cards are available at their restaurant and may be purchased by customers who can in turn gift
them to their friends and colleagues. These cards come with a specific value and can also be topped up
through the POS terminal. The cards are rechargeable and thus provide the means to be used as prepaid
cards. The prepaid application has been developed by GPM and has been tested time and again to ensure
100% error-free execution.
MIFRAH
A brand new garment store for men, women, and children with outlets in Karachi and Lahore. Mifrah has
inaugurated its opening by offering customers with its loyalty program. GPM has designed and implemented
Mifrah’s loyalty program and it has been running to their satisfaction. The said program offers various
discounts and point-based rewards mechanisms.
BACHA LOG
This is yet another loyalty program launched by GPM for children-wear retail. The idea is to entice the
new and existing customers into repeat sales and make them frequent the store more for availing special
offers and rewards. The loyalty program is still in its infancy phase and the customer-base is increasing
via increasing number of cards’ issuance.
